I Hear An Army - James Joyce

This is a literature poem that i had taken from net to present in class for Business Communication. As I didn't complete the literature book reading, I was rejected, and I got a (-5).
I was prepared for this poem, but she wanted both Review of the book n poem. Better luck next time :(
You Guys... Read it n Enjoy it.

I hear an army charging upon the land,
And the thunder of horses plunging; foam about their knees:
Arrogant, in black armour, behind them stand,
Disdaining the reins, with fluttering whips, the Charioteers.

They cry into the night their battle name:
I moan in sleep when I hear afar their whirling laughter.
They cleave the gloom of dreams, a blinding flame,
Clanging, clanging upon the heart as upon an anvil.

They come shaking in triumph their long grey hair:
They come out of the sea and run shouting by the shore.
My heart, have you no wisdom thus to despair?
My love, my love, my love, why have you left me alone?

Journey to MBA

Plan to do MBA was a dream from junior college, during the final year of my graduation I started the preparation for CET. Then came the Symbiosis Test [SNAP] a dream destination B-School for every MBA aspirants and especially the Punekars. Saw the questions and was astonished, hardly five questions were answered from the whole paper and only one question was damn sure that is correct that was the question related to jaundice, I could answer it because I had the disease a month before the entrance exam, but bad luck wrongly marked in ‘c’ instead of ‘b’. I scored -1.75

Then planned to give CET, prepared well, without any classes, on the entrance day we had the inter-collegiate volleyball competition which was very important part of my life, for a -second, I thought I will bunk the entrance exam, play today and prepare next year for MBA. But may be it was God’s decision I gave the entrance exam, scored 48 but didn’t attend GD/PI, I was very nervous.

Joined MBA entrance coaching in IMS Borivali, coaching was good, but for me Maths was a tough subject, everything I learned felt like learning astronomy n chemistry. I am a commerce student for me subjects in commerce was like a story book, no maths, no geography. In between Prepared for IIM - CAT for me attempting and getting good marks was like getting India’s most prestigious award. According to me I scored above my abilities and was extremely happy, I actually wanted to give a second chance for CAT but parents denied.

This time again appeared for CET - MAH. And scored 68. I was very disappointed, I had attempted 140 questions and was very sure and expected 90 + By then I was sure the maximum mark I will be scoring in GD/PI would be not more than 20 and same happened and 1 mark for PAR. Total was 89. The process took a lot of time for the CAP round I lost my patience, thought of getting in Institute level. First preference was Xavier’s as it is a sister Institute of XLRI. But the cut-off for management seats students was 150 & no donations Now I felt like no use in doing MBA this year, now this was a last attempt. Pillai College [PIMSR] Panvel one among the best institutes in Bombay.

Planned for PGDM-IB, I felt I won’t get admission with such a low score, but God’s grace got in minority seat for MBA, but one issue came it was not MBA but MMS, as it was awarded by Mumbai University. But who cares everyone knows it by MBA itself.

Now I am happy to be a P.G student and thanking God for his Blessings and care he has over me :)

NCS- Nirvana Christian Symphony

Nirvana Christian Symphony - is talent showcase house. And one important part of NCS is, it will be for all age. Hey......one minute its only a dream, that I wish to bring it in practical.

Q If you ask me, why is there a need for such a development/community?
> Just think, when was the last time you had participated in a competition of 'your talent.
Not all gets a chance to be a part of it.

Aim is to build and mould talent. Let the Talent be anything, if a panel is created and they like it, it will be accepted to be presented.

Planning it to bring under the banner of MGOCSM Dombivli and give them the responsibility and work with them and conduct it as an Ecumenical Extravaganza.

Will or will not work. I just submit it to God. And will write the rest about the failure or success then.
Bye n T.C.

If you any suggestion, or unhappy about this concept, different ideas, or any story that you had missed the opportunity to attend an event of your talent.

Please feel free to mail me :) mail id: sinju.peniel@gmail.com

It's Her Birthday

She is beautiful, committed, spiritual, and in the world there is hardly anybody who could be like her. Oh.......... I am sorry she is also a God’s angel; she gives food to those who are hungry, water to the thirsty, shelter to those living in the streets, treatment to the sick, and care for the lonely, love and peace to children, silent and happy death for the old and lonely.

She is there in every one’s heart, her face is as beautiful as a flower, her words are as sweet as honey, and her actions are Godly.

I remember the day she left this world, everyone in the family was in front of the television during the funeral we could see a dove coming down over her which is believed that it is the spirit of God.

If she lived today she would have been a hundred year old grandma of many hungry n poor people of this universe. She lives even today in millions of people’s heart. Everyone wishes to be like her. But the truth is no one has come like her before and after (other than God).
Mother Teresa 1910-1997. It’s her birthday on 26 August 2010.

Let’s Pray 4 her, and seek blessings from her through intercession. It may - not be possible for us to live like Mother Teresa sacrificing everything. But we can imitate small things let’s give a try and live a life like her on this centenary year.

Taize Community

Taize community:

Experienced the 'Beauty of Taize Worship' for the first time in life in Chennai Centenary Conference of MGOCSM. An Orthodox Syrian Church students movement.
Interesting part was, it was very near to the sea, so it was cool sitting there and listening to the chants repeating it  and meditating.

*** (image has been downloaded from google images)

Prayed to God from Heart as never before, complete silence, just the sounds of wind and chants were heard,  candles all around, and icons everwhere.

Contents in the Taize Worship is really attractive to the youngsters.
Its also known by the Gregorian worship.

Our church has been encouraging yougsters to visit Taize France.
Young boys and girls and seminarians visited there has conducted the taize worship in various annual conferences, it was graceful and completely rejoicing.
Friends attended ODYM too shared the joy they have received from the Taize worship.

Members of the church especially the seniors are not supportive to this form of worship may be because its mainly conducted in English and Hindi, which they may not be understanding.
Wish to bring people of all age.
If Taize worship is conducted in Malayalam, it would be very interesting and more co-operation can be expected from the seniors.

Bishops, Priests, Deacons and Brothers in seminary if you read this please do encourage youngsters in churches, make seniors understand the importance of this worship aiming the youth.

Reason behind writing this Blog is to make aware about the community and the form of worship we too have and share to it to all.
Taize worship is conducted by Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants.
Its not a religion,
Its not a group.

Its a pilgrim centre.
Its a form of worship that Br. Roger has started in France. Brothers from different denomination has come together to form the community to bring youngsters from all around the world.

Community in Orkut.
